TOY is a London-based 5-piece band formed only a year ago but who has already shared stages with the likes of The Horrors - whom they’ve followed on the last tour for several dates - or S.C.U.M. They globally look more like early 70’s psych/kraut-rockers (Hawkwind, Amon Duul…) but they definitely share the same passion for shoegaze, psychedelia and that early Simple Minds’ vibe that seems to flourish in the UK at the moment. But not only though.. they’re into kosmische, post rock, musique concrete and folk too ! Which makes sense. And they write some truly spellbinding tunes, such as this first single here, recently released on Heavenly Recordings :
