Spirit of Eden
We don’t know much about these guys apart from the fact that they come from Manchester, they are a trio and they have been together for less than a year. Their music is rich of so many different influences - from Western to Caribbean and Far-East music - that they are difficult to pin down. Quite mystical and haunting, Water Signs is another serious contender for the fast swelling Madchester new wave (Money, Christian AIDS, D/R/U/G/S, Wu Lyf…).
